Wileen Leu

Biography

Wileen is a senior counsel in the Corporate Department and focuses her practice on advising clients on business matters. Wileen guides clients in a broad range of issues, including business strategies, corporate formations, equity structures, and privacy law. She has handled a wide array of cases, ranging from employment matters, ADA claims, copyright disputes and start-up fundraisings to negotiating deals and contracts for game developers, publishers, esports leagues, media platforms and a variety of business organizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Wileen was the former head of investor relations and corporate counsel for a national real estate development company. While there, she led negotiations and handled contracts with financial institutions and both private and institutional investors. She also participated in facilitating financing transactions exceeding $300M in loans from financial lenders and was part of an executive team that, in 2019, raised $480M for an IPO. Wileen has extensive experience advising clients on corporate entity formations, and has even represented NFL teams on workers’ compensation litigation.

Most important, Wileen is a connoisseur of substandard rom-coms and an avid quokka admirer.
